Initiatives at Galexy include:
- The Datafactory, a web-application that supports the development and validation of default-risk models for financial institutions in data-poor environments.
- Support of the XBRLAPI project, an open source API for XBRL, implemented in Java and designed to work with massive datasets.
- Creation and maintenance of an extensive online XBRL taxonomy documentation system.
